La Finca Golf Course Review

The La Finca golf course at just over 6,032 metres was designed for tournaments within a natural setting providing majestic views of lakes, trees and mountains and is undoubtedly challenging with the infamous island green 5th hole.

La Finca golf course probably has a greater variety of greens in comparison to other Costa Blanca golf courses, with all shape and sizes of the greens, some a 100 metres long and 10 metres wide, others 80 metres wide and 10 metres deep, some completely square (like a bowling green) and some the size and shape of a kidney bean.

The 6th hole is next to a beautiful lake with several waterfalls on the left side. This lake provides both the 5th and 6th holes with a treacherous water hazard but is an added beauty that compliments this beautiful golf course. The green on the 7th hole is completely surrounded by a spectacular bunker that requires careful navigation.

The 17th is also a feature hole being a 323 metres par 4 hole of stroke index 2 played over water.This is simply make your mind up time, does fortune favour the brave by going for the green with a big hit or bail out to the safe but relatively small landing area to the right of the lake? Most of the fairways at La Finca are generously wide and the rough isn't too long, but with the water hazards and numerous pine and olive trees it is a good test of your golfing skill.

If you are looking for a superior game on a quality course, La Finca golf course in Costa Blanca south is the place to go. The course is long with plenty of water so a good supply of golf balls and probably a buggy are recommended.
